About the Studio

Petals is a private floral studio, not a retail shop. Which can be an advantage to the consumer and also to the designer. Less overhead means lower stress, more value, and increased creativity! I work by appointment but frequent the Saint John City Market and other special craft gatherings so I can be amongst the people with my flowers.

Arrangements can be created in the most traditional way or the most abstract, and that is exactly what takes place in my treehouse studio daily. Always willing to try new styles but also happy to create a beautiful classic arrangement.

Studio is set up to accommodate special workshops for up to 6 people and also for comfortable complimentary consultations for weddings, funerals, etc. Communication is very important so that all of the details and preferences have been discussed, such as colors, personality, style, your budget, etc.

I feel meeting face to face for such special days is essential.

Loving nature and living by the water in beautiful Grand Bay-Westfield where my Floral studio is located. Hosting special workshops here is important, as this was a favorite for me when I owned Robin’s Beadworks for 10 years in the City Market and KV location. I am so pleased to be back in my creative element with flowers, my first true love!

I attended the Cdn Institute of Floral Design in Toronto this year to get my Certification. It truly was as good a school as its rating says it is. The experience gave me all the confidence to be a creative entrepreneur again.
